At the heart of our preschool is relationship and meaningful connection. We convey respect, passion, recognition, kindness, fun and love in what we do each day with children, families and one another.
We gather on Dharawal country and offer our respect and gratitude to the Dharawal people from the past, to the present and into the future. Dharawal children played here. We continue to honor the value of play to empower children to build confidence and strong identities through shared discovery and investigation of the natural world.
Children prepare for the future through guidance and modelling of problem-solving skills, resilience building and negotiation. As individuals, children ‘s knowledge, experience and culture are celebrated, and their family is acknowledged as the most valuable teacher in their life.
Reflection on our practice strengthens decision-making as we commit to developing ourselves as professionals. Using slow pedagogy, means we approach interactions from a point of curiosity and thoughtfulness. This ensures our preschool is one where trusting relationships, social and environmental sustainability and a passion for learning flourishes.
As a Christian service we work alongside the church in their vision of connection and service to the community, reflecting compassion and love for all people.
