Provide an outdoor area that is natural and allows children to include in their play natural materials such as flowers, leaves, pebbles, scented plants etc. The garden includes opportunities for caring and maintaining the environment and learning about our natural resources such as water
Prepare children for the transition to school with promoting children’s development in the areas of independence, self help skills, social skills, cognitive skills, fine motor skills and gross motor skills
Document children’s learning that reflects the investigations and experiences explored
Enhance the development of healthy self esteem and self confidence in all children.
